THE PANEL

The Mayor's Joint Youth Commission Panel is made up of 9 high school students throughout the Lowell school systems.  The Panel is made up of 4 students from Lowell High School, 2 students from The Greater Lowell Technical High School, 2 students from The Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School and 1 student from Lowell Catholic.

The Panel meets once a month to dicuss and address issues and goals they have for the City.  Once a month the Panel chooses a site to volunteer at where they feel they will benefit from.  This year The Mayor's Joint Youth Commission plan to take part in Earth Day on April 28, 2007.  The Panel is attempting to educate their own peers about Earth Day and what they can do to make Lowell beautiful.
