RE:                   Motion-Reinstall HP @ Davidson St. Lot

The Department of Public Works has examined the condition of the handicap ramps at the intersection of Merrimack Street and Davidson Street.  Both ramps are in need of complete re-designs to accommodate new regulations.

Currently the department is working with the Engineer’s Office for design and placement.  At this time, one of the ramps is adjacent to a ventilation grate.  Proper redress will take additional research to accommodate the current layout (crossing Davidson St.).

If a design can accommodate the current layout, work should be completed by mid to late October 07.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
