SUBJECT:       Council Motion of 8/14/07 by Councillor A. Mercier

“Request the City Manager have the proper department clean Pawtucket Canal @ Francis Gate House.”

 

 

In past years, on an annual basis, the Lowell National Parks and Enel Energy have worked together in the cleaning the accumulated debris that amasses at the Francis Gate House at the mouth of the Pawtucket Canal.  Currently they are discussing the process of coordinating this year clean up and I have asked the Lowell National Parks to keep me up to date on this development.  I have also informed them to contact me if they need assistance.
