RE:                   Council Motion of 5/1/07 by Councillor R. Mercier

“Request the City Manager have the proper department replace missing street signs throughout the City.”

I have contacted John Cooper, Sign Department, regarding the motion mentioned above.  John stated that all street signs are replace in the City within 24 to 48 hours after the Sign Department has been notified, with the exception of regulatory signs, which are fixed immediately.  The Sign Department usually is notified of any missing street signs by other departments, residents, and by driving throughout the City.
