RE:                   Council Motion of 4/17/07 by Councillor R. Mercier

“Request the City Manager have the Law Department draw the proper vote to dedicate a portion of the island on Washington Parkway in honor and memory of Rosemary C. Eliopoulos.”

 

Regarding the above mentioned motion, I have been in contact with Tom Bellegarde, Parks Commissioner and he stated that he will place this request on the Board of Parks agenda because it has to be approved by them first.  The next Board of Parks Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 6:00PM.  Tom will notify me after the Board votes.
