“Request the City Manager investigate ways and means for the Purchasing Department to do more business with local business men and women.”

Attached please find a communication that was sent to the Council on November 3, 2006, related to the above mentioned motion.  Also, when the new Purchasing Agent is hired, that person will work with Tom Moses, CFO, to investigate new policies in how the City deals with local businesses.
