RE:                   Council Motion of 2/6/07 by Councillor Rita Mercier

“Request the City Manager have the responsible party make safe the entrances to the black bridge on Lawrence Street ie; larger signs and ample warnings in both directions.”

The City of Lowell Electrical Department has investigated the cost to install “Low Bridge” signs with flashing lights for both sides of the train bridge on Lawrence Street.  They solicited (3) three verbal quotes and estimate the cost of the project to be $25,000.
