RE:                   Council Motion of 2/20/07 by Councillor Rita Mercier

“Request the City Manager have the Director of Parking clarify the policies and procedures for garage parking during snow emergencies as it relates to Special Events.”

Please find a communication from Chuck Carney, Parking Director, regarding the above mentioned motion.  Chuck has explained the intent of the snow ban parking ordinance and the offer of free parking in the City Garages.  Also attached is a copy the information that is on the City Website regarding the Winter Parking Ban.
