Please be advised that I have been in contact with Thomas R. Bellegarde, Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Cemeteries, regarding the above-mentioned motions.  Mr. Bellegarde has informed me that at the Board of Parks meeting on November 28, 2007 the Board voted to approve both requests. 

The dedications for the playground at McInerney Park for John and Chila Maher and the softball field in memory of Kelly L. Page will take place in Spring 2008.  You will be kept informed of any developments.
