The City of Lowell’s Department of Public Works will be conducting night time road preservation crack sealing which will begin on May 10, 2010 and conclude on May 14, 2010 (weather permitting).  The following streets will be affected:

• Bridge Street (Kearney Square to Dracut Town Line)
• Chelmsford Street (Lincoln Street to Lord Overpass)
• Church Street (Central Street to west abutment of Concord River Bridge)
• Gorham Street (Central Street (downtown) to Central Street (Gallagher Square)
• Thorndike Street (Gorham Street to Dutton Street)
• William Street (Central Street to George Street)

The work will be done during evening hours from 9:00PM to 5:00AM in an effort to minimize the impact to traffic.  The remainder of the Crack Sealing Program will be completed during regular hours.
