Lowell High School / ROTC - Brick Sale
Greetings!
As one of the largest high schools in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we are often viewed by most as just another urban high school. We have made great strides toward our goal of "Commitment to excellence in everything we do". Many advancements have been made involving our curriculum: our academies, our technology and the school climate. We have students, teachers, alumni, friends, sponsors and supporters that contribute to the welfare of our educational community.
I want you to have a building in which to be proud, as well as an entrance way to introduce guests to Lowell High School that reflects our dedication and pride.
We have an opportunity to enhance the entrance area of the building. You may have noticed our new flag poles that we were fortunate enough to have replaced last year with no cost to the school department. I would like to take that renovation one step further, and create a memorial walkway at the entrance to the school and surrounding the new flag poles.
I would ask you to consider purchasing a personalized memorial brick and become a permanent member of the Lowell High School's legacy. Bricks are available in two different sizes and can be engraved to honor a club, sport, academy, class, teacher, alumni, supporter, friend, student, retiree, family, business, favorite pet, or even anonymously. The details are included in the attached order form.
This is a grand undertaking, and we hope to have it complete in late spring. It is necessary for the bricks to be ordered by May 15, 2009. Please give some consideration to purchase a memorial brick or assemble a group to participate in this transformation and be a part of Lowell High's legacy.
I thank you in advance for you support.
Sincerely,
William Samaras
Head Master
