Resurfacing and Related Work on a Section of Route 38 (Rogers and Nesmith Streets) from the Lowell/Tewksbury Town Line to the Hunts Falls Bridge will begin on Tuesday night August 24, 2010.

 Roadway cold planing (milling) will begin on Tuesday Night August 24, 2010.  Curb, Sidewalk, Drainage Casting Adjustments and Paving Operations will follow the cold planing (milling) work

The milling and paving work will be performed during the night - Sunday thru Thursday - from 8PM to 5AM. The curb work will be done during the day. These three phases of the project are estimated to be completed by the end of October. Please remember that all construction schedules are weather dependent.

Lane closures will be used for traffic control and some traffic delays may occur during the work shift. No complete road closures will occur for this work.

Please use caution while traveling on this section of Rte. 38 while the work is in progress.
