Healthy Summer Programs 2006

Healthy Summer is a collaboration of Non-Profit Organizations and the City of Lowell. Enclosed is a Healthy Summer Program Flyer which lists all Healthy Summer Programs, and Feeding Sites for Summer '06. Questions regarding a Healthy Summer Program. Should be addressed to the individual Organization running that Program. All Parks and Recreation Programs are Healthy Summer Programs.

THE CAREER CENTER OF LOWELL

The Career Center provides wages for the youth
of Lowell who are assigned to the Summer
Work Experience Internships. Youth Aged 14-21
who meet income and residence eligibility
requirements and who are committed to
participate in a Career Center of Lowell
Sponsored Program beyond the summer.
This means commitment to one of the following:
  • High School Graduation
  • GED Preperation Classes
  • Career Counseling
  • Post Secondary Education
  • Job Search Assistance

Use of the Youth Resource Room is open to all.
Hours are Monday and Wednesday 12-4pm
Friday 10am-4pm
