City of Lowell to seek federal grant.
The City of Lowell Division of Planning and Development is in the process of applying for a brownfields assessment grant through the USEPA. The grants would assist the City’s ongoing effort to revitalize neighborhoods citywide by transforming blighted and underused property into productive parcels for job creation and new housing opportunities.
The city is seeking input from the public on its application. A
copy of the draft application is available for review at DPD, 50
Arcand Drive, Lowell, MA 01852 and at www.lowellma.biz. Written comments should be
directed to Brian Connors at DPD and must be received by Monday,
December 12, 2005 at 12:00 Noon (Local Time). Comments may also be
