Thursday Night Lights!
Many of the Downtown Lowell retailers are preparing for the holiday rush by extending their hours until at least 8:00 PM on Thursdays in December. Extended hours will give shoppers a chance to explore distinctive boutiques while experiencing the holiday season in the city. Free parking is available from 5-9 PM in the Roy (Market St.) and Downes (John St.) garages.
Over 100,000 lights will illuminate cobblestone streets lined with holiday decorations. The sound of Carolers will fill the downtown with the holiday spirit. Enjoy the festive atmosphere while crossing names off your holiday list.
“Thursday Night Lights! is an opportunity for shoppers to experience all that Downtown Lowell has to offer”, said Susan de Mari, the city’s Downtown Coordinator. “Lowell is especially beautiful during the holiday season and so we invite shoppers to explore what holiday shopping was meant to be. Ample parking, distinctive retailers, and holiday decorations are just part of what Downtown Lowell has to offer.”
