• 3:00-6:00 p.m. - One way northbound

O'Donnell Bridge (School Street)

• 6:00-9:00 a.m. - Center lane southbound traffic only thereby
  providing two southbound lanes
• 4:00-7:00 p.m. - Center lane northbound traffic only thereby
  providing two northbound lanes
• 4:00-7:00 p.m. - Left turn from O'Donnell to VFW prohibited

Traffic adjustments will be supported by Police Details who will be present at the intersections of VFW/School, School/Pawtucket, University/VFW, Aiken/VFW and Aiken/Perkins to assist in calling motorist's attention to changes in traffic flow/direction. Police Detail is also recommended at University/Riverside to monitor potential congestion. Police Details will also monitor traffic adjustments, providing input on the need for further adjustments, additional signage or signal adjustments.

Lowell Police Traffic Division to install traffic cones on center lane of O'Donnell Bridge at 6:00 a.m. and removes cones at 9:00 a.m. Lowell Police Traffic Division will also place variable message signboards at appropriate locations in advance of the O'Donnell Bridge, University Avenue Bridge and Aiken Street Bridge indicating either bridge closure or one-way operation/no access.

Department of Public Works will be responsible for signal adjustments at impacted intersections on VFW and Pawtucket.

Drivers are encouraged to use the Hunt's Fall Bridge when possible.
