The Transportation Engineer and the Transportation Planner of the Division of Planning and Development are responsible for investigating traffic concerns. In addition they review parking and traffic regulations, and accident data. They also determine the use and placement of traffic control devices, conduct traffic counts, neighborhood surveys, and participate in traffic signal improvement and traffic planning projects.
