Roll call showed 9 present.

Mayor A. Mercier presiding.

Prior to the meeting, a Moment of Silence in a darkened chamber was observed for Frank Boyle, Father of Retired Police Officer Arthur Boyle who passed away recently.

CITY CLERK

Minutes of October 4th for acceptance. In Council, Read, accepted and placed on file by motion of C. Broderick, seconded by C. Milinazzo. So voted.

PUBLIC HEARINGS (Scheduled for 7PM)

Ordinance-Chapter 13, Motor Vehicles & Traffic, Quarterly Ordinance. In Council, Given 2nd reading and hearing held. No Remonstrants. Hearing closed. Adopted on roll call vote 9 yeas. So voted.

Conduit Location-Mass. Electric Co. conduit location in Seneca Street. In Council, Read and hearing held. Dave Aguair spoke for the petitioner. No Remonstrants. Hearing closed.

Referred to the DPW Superintendent of Streets and Inspector of Wires. So voted.

CITY MANAGER

Communication-From City Manager requesting approval of Out of State Travel. In Council, Read and approved on roll call vote 9 yeas. So voted.

Order-60 Day Trial, Traffic Regulations, various locations. In Council, Read twice and adopted 9 yeas. So voted.

Order-Dedicating the corner of Princeton Boulevard and South Canton Street as the Coulouras Brothers Memorial. In Council, Read twice and adopted 9 yeas. So voted.

REPORTS

C. R. Mercier, Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Sub/Committee said they met this evening and make the following recommendation:

That the City Council vote in favor of the Board of Parks action to dedicate the park at the corner of Arcand Drive and Father Morisette Boulevard as the Colleen Creegan Memorial Garden and she so moved, seconded by C. Martin. Adopted favorably on a roll call vote 9 yeas. So voted.

C. R. Mercier said they also discussed and asked Assistant City Manager T. J. McCarthy to address the concerns at the Fayette Street Park by increasing police patrols and increasing the lighting in the park. C. R. Mercier said this would begin to address the concerns of the residents of the Mazur Apartments.

Adopted as a report of progress on motion of C. Caulfield, seconded by C. Martin. So voted.

PETITIONS

Misc.-Residents of Dingwell Street requesting the street return to the Two Way Traffic. In Council, Referred to the Traffic Engineer for a report and recommendation. So voted.

Daniel Couture Middlesex Street request the city to open the fence along Jackson Street. In Council, Referred to the City Manager. So voted.
